Edward Pliner is CFO of the APR group of companies and has extensive financial and business management experience.  Ed has over 15 years of experience as CFO of technology and renewable businesses. 

Previously, Ed was CFO of Raytheon Technologies and Partner at PricewaterhouseCoopers for 10 years in their audit practice. 

Ed has a BA from Tufts University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

JON TEBOL

Partner & EVP, Corporate Development

Jon Tebol is EVP of Corporate Development and has over 25 years in leadership roles at investment banking firms. Jon has served leading private equity firms, including The Carlyle Group and Main Street Capital private equity funds. 

Jon holds a B.S. in Finance and Accounting from. Susquehanna University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton Graduate School of Business.

For 25 years, Benjamin has led technology and infrastructure platforms globally focusing on delivering advanced computing solutions with integrated energy infrastructure.

Benjamin has extensive experience leading businsesses that provide technology and power solutions to global companies. 

STEPHEN GIBELLI

Vice President of Legal and Regulatory Affairs

As Vice President of Legal and Regulatory Affairs, Stephen is responsible for managing the company’s regulatory and legislative team.

Stephen has over 26 years of experience in legal and regulatory matters, serving in leadership roles within Fortune 500 companies. 

Stephen holds a Doctor of Law with Honors from New England Law – Boston. He also earned a BS in Finance from the Boston College Carroll School of Management. 

ANDREW THURSTON

Vice President of Distributed Generation – APR Renewables

As the Vice President of Distributed Generation, Andrew heads the overall strategic direction and growth of APR Renewables’ Distributed Generation development business.

Andrew’s experience includes structuring large-scale equity, convertible preferred equity, and convertible debt offerings at Fortune 500 companies. Andrew led development M&A at NextEra Energy businesses and BlackRock’s subsidiary DSD.

DAVID BALFREY

Chief Operating Officer – APR Renewables

David has had a long career in renewable energy development and operations. At APR, David is responsible for the daily operations of the Renewables business and leads its Utility Scale group.

Prior to joining APR, David was the Senior Vice President of Technology at Apex Clean Energy, leading technical services, project design, energy assessment, and strategic sourcing for wind, solar, storage, and hydrogen portfolios. He also led the Asset Management team during his time at Apex and managed Energy Assessment at Acciona Energy prior to his tenure at Apex. 

JOHN MARRINUCCI

VP – Qoob Technologies

John is a technology entrepreneur with 30+ years of experience developing, leading, and growing companies in the sector from early stage to achieving success as industry leader.  His expertise is the design-to-deployment of data centers for tech majors like Microsoft, Google, and Amazon. Additionally, John specializes in modular solutions for data, telecom, and power.

STEPHEN CULBERTSON

Commercial Director – Qoob Technologies

Stephen Culbertson Jr. is Director of Commercial Analysis, responsible for financial modeling, forecasting, and planning for the organization.

Previously Stephen was at NextEra Energy, where he managed financial forecasting teams. Stephen has extensive experience working for hedge funds and family offices.

Stephen holds a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a MBA from Columbia Business School.

JONATHAN CORAGLIO

Director of Finance

As the Director of Finance, Jonathan specializes in project finance, tax efficiency, and capital markets for development and operating assets. Previously, he managed tax planning for Google, was the Head of US Tax for a global proprietary High Frequency Trading firm, and held leadership roles at Guggenheim Partners, a global investment and advisory firm.

Jonathan is a Certified Public Accountant, earned his MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, and obtained his BS in Accounting and Finance from the University of Illinois.
